The government has begun to formulate a national standard for Crayfish Culture

Recently the crayfish-related poisoning had again aroused wide concern over food safety among Chinese consumers.

Yesterday, the experts who attended the finding-meeting of the investigation for the crayfish-related accidents in Nanjing city said, according to the present situation of crayfish culture which lacks of a universal standard, the Nation Agriculture Department and Fishery Administration has begun to formulate a national standard for Crayfish Culture in China, and then citizens can enjoy the qualified non-polluted crayfish.
