Hong Kong: Warning against bottled fish from Thailand

The Hong Kong Centre for Food Safety has discovered that a bottle of salted mackerel fish sold at a PARKnSHOP supermarket contains excessive histamine. The item has a best before date of 16 March 2009 and was manufactured on 16 March 2007. The centre has urged consumers to avoid eating the fish under the Golden Dragon brand from Thailand, and has also ordered a ban on the sale of the fish.
