Up to the end of June 2010, the total export of aquatic products to Korea reached 161,986 tons from China, valued at 479.4 million U.S. dollars. It is up 4% and 27%, respectively, as compared with that in the same period of last year. Korea has all together imported aquatic products for 496,502 tons in the past 6 months of 2010 with China’s proportion of 32%.

In the June, the gross export of seafood to Korea is 20,875 tons, decreased by 12% compared with that of the last year, valued at 62.36 million dollars, grew by 4%.
