Acoording to Fujian Provincial Department of Ocean and Fisheries, the total export of aquatic products reached 0.1391 million tons in Fujian from January to April, valued at 704 million US dollars. It is up 69.22% and 105.36%, respectively, which both hitting a new high, as compared with that in the same period of last year.

It’s reported that three factors attributed to the increasing trend of aquatic products export in Fujian from earlier this year.

Firstly, the south-east asian market opens gradually,which will become the main part of our export area together with Japan, Korea and the united states.

Secondly both the output and price of the roast eel increased a lot, expecially the export price grew by 25% ~30% compared with last year.

At last, the export to Taiwan becomes a big luminescent spot. Fujian’s aquatic products export takes a high growth with the advantage of the “three direct links” between the two sides.
