The long-lasting cold weather has brought rain and wind. Fishing has been worst affected, followed by stockbreeding and cultivation. Many fish, pigs and ducks have died as a result of the cold weather, but the domestic fish supply has remained stable. Vegetables however, have been in short supply with a corresponding price increase.
The Agriculture Bureau of Guangzhou Municipality has contributed over 2 million RMB towards recovery. |
