Fuhai seafood company labels each fish landed from Ulungur Lake under the brand of "Fuhai Wild Fish" during the annual harvest season which started from the end of last year.This is the first time fish from Ulungur Lake was attached with unique identification labels before enter into market. With this label,consumers can check the fish origin by phone or via internet.
The company is from Fuhai county,Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,which takes advantage of Ulungur Lake fishery resource,and produces cold-water fish such as Pike(Esox lucius),Abramis brama orientalis,leuciscus leuciscus baicalensis,Pikeperch(Stizostedion luciopera Linnaeus),river perch (perca fluviatilis) with annual output reachs 4500 tonnes.Cold-water fish from Ulungur Lake enjoys considerable demands in the cities such as Beijing,Shanghai during rush season in the coming China Lunar New Year.
