Taizhou sweet fish to Japan resume

Zhejiang Taizhou city exports 600kg,valued at US$ 4800 preserved sweet fish(Plecoglossus altivelis) products to Japan at the beginning of 2008.This marks Taizhou sweet fish resume export to Japan which was affected by Japan rigorous positive list system from 2006.  
The exporter,Taizhou Longxi aquaculture farm,found in 2003 with annual output of sweet fish more than 100 tonnes,exports 118 tonnes processed sweet fish which worth US$ 650,000 to Japan from 2003 to 2005. This shipment enables the farm's products to meet the standards of Japan positive list system imposed on imported products.
