The seasoned dried cod strips from Heilongjiang Province has recently been labeled with CIQ by the local Entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, enrolled as the first exported seafood product with CIQ qualification for exporting, since Announcement No.85, 2007 of SAQSIQ (the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China), on ‘Stamping the Inspection and Quarantine Marks on Export Food Stuff’ putting into force on 1st of September.

CIQ (China Inspection and Quarantine) declared that 35 types of food stuff such as seafood, rice and candies can be allowed for exporting only with CIQ label stamped after the proofing by the entry-exit inspection and quarantine authorities.
