Cooperation mechanism set up in Guangxi, boosting exports on aquatic products

The signing ceremony was held on 14th June of 2007 upon the agreement between Guangxi Entry-Exit Inspection &Quarantine Bureau and Guangxi Fisheries &Animal Husbandry Bureau for a cooperation mechanism, aiming to more effectively develop the aquatic products exportation of Guangxi province.

Based on the statistics, there were 928 batches of aquatic products at 20190 tons proved by Entry-Exit Inspection &Quarantine Bureau for exporting in 2006, valued for 61.28 million US dollars. The figure is respectively at 60%, 85% and 59% increase to the previous year. So considering taking more advantages on aquatic resource in Guangxi, the local Entry-Exit Inspection &Quarantine Bureau joins hand in hand with Fisheries &Animal Husbandry Bureau to boost the aquatic products exportation.
