As one of the major supplier for sea cucumber in China, Yantai city is suffering with the depression on its production, mainly due to the persistent rainfall in the summer and autumn of this year.

According to the seafood wholesale market of Yantai, the unit price on fresh sea cucumber has jumped to 240 Yuan/kg, driven by the prevailing decrease on production.
