385 seafood enterprises authorized for exporting to Russia

According to Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China (CNCA), there are 385 seafood enterprises in total enrolled and registered in Russian Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Service (VPSS), with the allowance on the seafood export to Russia.

Based on the Sino-Russia bilateral trade agreement signed in the earlier of this year, market admittance system is introduced to the bilateral seafood trade, setting the registration as a trading requirement.

In this August, an inspection tour from VPSS was made to the Chinese seafood processing companies on application in Guangdong and Zhejiang province.
