In the first half of this year, the Fishery Industry of Liaoning province kept increasing quickly. The total output of aquatic products reached 2.337 million tons, increasing by 0.124 million tons, rose 5.6 percent on that of the same period of last year. The gross output value reached 39.55 billion yuan, grew by 5.17 billion yuan, up 15% over last year.

It is reported the marine fishing output reached 0.6 million tons, which occupied 25.7% of the total seafood output, down 2.5% from the same period of last year.

In the light of output value, the marine fishing occupied 22% of the gross output value; the marine aquaculture and fresh water products、fry of aquatic animals occupied the rest of 78%.
