On 10 November, Charles Redfield, vice president of Wal Mart, visited farms and factories of Guolian in Zhanjiang,Guangdong province. On this occasion, a strategic partnership was established between the two parties.
Redfield said Wal Mart gives its full confidence to Chinese food processing and states that cooperation between the two sides would contribute to the development of local farming industry.
