Spring fishing banned for 3 consecutive years in Ertix River

From April, Ertix River, the only one river flowing into Arctic Ocean in China, enters fishing free period. During this period, fishing and transporting fish for sale in this international river with 21 rare cold water fishes are forbidden.

According to the introduction, this 3-month fishing free period will end on June 30th. Till now, Ertix River, this long river to Arctic Ocean has launched fishing banned for 3 consecutive years.

Ertix River Starts from Altay Mountain region of XJ, and flows into Arctic Ocean via Ob River in Russia. In the river, there are Sturgeon, white spot pike and some other rare fishes. Except spring fishing banning, the local fishery department will put investment in incubation of large mount of rare fishes fries, and put them into Ertix River.
