A gigantic whale shark was found suffocated to death in a fishing net by a fisherman when he was working in China's Yellow Sea on Oct. 9, 2011.

The whale shark, which was dragged back to the Jishan Port, weighs around 15 tons and is 11 meters in length.

Whale shark is, by far, the world's largest fish species. Feeding mainly on plankton and small fish, it lives in the tropical and warm oceans.
