Fishing ban starts on China Sea

China's annual ban on fishing imposed by the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture in four China Sea areas took effect in June one after the other.The four China Sea areas are South China Sea,East China Sea,Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea representatively.  
The ban will last for two to three monthes differed for different sea areas.During this period,the major fishing activities such as trawling,purse netting and stownetting are prohibited.  
In South China Sea,nearly 19,000 fishing vessels have gradually been back on shore before the ban started in 1st June.  
"Fishermen will be provided with training courses during the ban period to help them pick up practical skills or learn to read and write. Other areas might stage cultural performances and sports events to entertain the fishermen",Government officer said. 
The fishermen look forward to the low diesel price and good harvest after the ban ended.
