Singer and actor Ekin Cheng attended a World Wildlife Fund (WWF) event at a local school in Hong Kong on Saturday, and called on students to protect marine life and not eat endangered fish species.
As the WWF's Hong Kong marine ambassador, Cheng also joined students in eating boxed lunches with environmentally friendly seafood, according to a report by the Hong Kong-based publication Tungstar.
Cheng also expressed worry about the global warming. "A snowy Christmas will probably be a luxury in the future," he said.
