Fish farming,hard hit by snow,bad weather

Latest statistic shows than the extreme weather that hit China in recent weeks has damaged 0.97 million hectares of fish farming land in 12 snow-afflicted provincial regions, and caused 0.87 million tonnes output and more than 6.8 billion Yuan in direct losses,according to a report on the Fisheries Bureau of Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) website issued on Friday. 

The 12 snow-hit provincial regions includes Hunan,Hubei,Guangdong,Guangxi,Shandong,Sichuan,Jiangsu,Henan,Zhejiang,Jiangxi,Chongqing and Fujian province.Juvenile fish,tropical and subtropical fish such as tilapia,shrimp,dace,crawfish,crab,Colossoma brachypomum,are the main victims. 
Snow-hit farmers are sparing no effort in reducing losses with the help of government dispatched technicians teams and get through their current difficulties and begin rebuilding.More relief work from the Government on farming infrastructure demage and juvenile production shortage are planning.
