As for 2006, the typical year on this growing trend, the export volume of China tilapia got 57148.30-ton increase over 2005 at the rate of 53.24% and the figure on export value was 13701 million-US$ increase over 2005 at the rate of 59.02%.
Thus, the upward figures, presenting the enhanced popularity of China tilapia in global markets, have also been seen as a typical indication for the improved competence on culturing and processing of China tilapia.
